LEAMINGTON PHOTOFEST 23

First of all, I'd like to express my gratitude once again to two incredible people whose continued support and friendship has been an important part of my life and my photography journey: Ruth and Nat Coalson, Gallery PHOTIQ owners. Thank you for seeing my potential and for being such lovely people!

What brought us together was Leamington PhotoFest – a photo competition and exhibition run by their gallery to help local photographers promote their work. I won the Gallery Choice Award in 2021 and the prize – a solo exhibition – was a success and a reminder to keep doing what I love.

This year I had the pleasure to receive an invitation from Nat to be part of the Judging Panel. I’m so delighted and excited to see all the entries, but most importantly, to help another fellow photographer succeed like I did when I entered!

I can't believe I've received another Honourable Mention! This time in the Monochrome Awards - International Black & White Photography Contest - 'Amateur Street' category. I can't describe how happy I am! 🎉😁

TIFA 2022 - HONOURABLE MENTION

I'm so delighted to announce I've received an Honourable Mention in the Tokyo International Foto Awards 2022!

Even though I'm not officially a winner, this is a great personal achievement for me. Being recognised by an International photo competition gives me even more motivation to keep doing what I love. I'm over the moon!

I entered the 'Self-portrait' category with a series of images themed 'Reflections of my own'. You can see my pictures on their website, here.

Following previous news that I won the Gallery Choice Award - Leam PhotoFest 21 - I am now delighted to announce that my exhibition 'Walking into the past' is now open at Gallery PHOTIQ! 🎉😀

It'll run until 14th January and the Artist Reception day is on the 17th December!

Gallery PHOTIQ is located at 40 Park Street in Leamington Spa. For more info about my exhibition, please check their website here.

EXCITING NEWS!!! 🤩

I have won the Gallery Choice Award - Leam PhotoFest 21 and the prize is to have my own exhibition at the Gallery PHOTIQ in Leamington Spa in 2022!

Initially, I found out I had 3 of my photos selected to be displayed at the Gallery which was the first part of the competition. There was an exhibition showing all selected photographs (all very good!) and to me, that was a great achievement anyway!

But winning the Gallery Choice came as a surprise and it could not have been a better time for it - now I know I've got to keep doing what I love and things will happen 😊🤞

When your hard work is recognised by someone who has a great knowledge of art and see your potential, this is for sure something to be proud of 😊

Congratulations to the other winners of different categories and everyone who's been selected, you are all winners! 👏
